What is Sběratel sněhu about?
Dominik collects snow in a bag and keeps it in the freezer, as if something inherently transient could be captured. At the same time, an image of a boy he sees beside his bed enters his daily life.
Another strand concerns an old diary and people who once lived in the camp in České Budějovice. The past is not a closed chapter here. It returns through memories, places, and the fates of people whose lives were shaped by historical events.
Three timelines and three generations gradually come together in a shared narrative. České Budějovice is more than a backdrop: it is where the present meets an unresolved past.
