What is Čertovská pohádka about?
Honza and Kašpárek embark on a journey to rescue a princess. Their quest leads to hell, where they encounter devils and discover what its inhabitants can do. The story follows the traditional fairy-tale pattern of a courageous rescue mission, but the audiobook's delivery is important too. According to the official publisher's description, Jan Přeučil and Eva Hrušková do more than read the text: they act and sing as well. The recording therefore incorporates dramatized storytelling. Folk-style fairy-tale motifs, humor, danger, and the setting of hell shape the plot without a realistic framework.
