Mysterious lights in a restricted part of Šumava draw a scientific expedition to the borderlands in the late 1970s. But the landscape also holds the memory of older wrongs.
About the book
This horror story sets rational inquiry against Cold War security suspicions and local legends of will-o'-the-wisps. The bogs around the Křemelná create an isolated setting where personal histories are hard to escape. Tension grows from uncertainty over whether the events belong to nature, human schemes, or something darker.
