Muži ve zbrani
Author: Terry Pratchett
5,96 €
Ankh-Morpork’s City Watch is expanding just as the city faces a series of disturbing events. Terry Pratchett combines an investigation with urban fantasy and satire on institutions, prejudice, and the very idea of law.
About the book
New recruits from different communities change the unlikely force and its relationship with the city. The investigation of a dangerous weapon becomes entwined with the question of serving justice where chaos is almost a system of government.
Pratchett uses the detective plot for humor built on dialogue, literal meanings, and encounters between groups. At its center is a team learning to work together despite its differences. The story stands alone, while earlier adventures add context to its characters and humor.
