Není přání jako přání
Author: Alexandra Potter
6,36 €
Londoner Heather is coping with an unfaithful former partner and practical worries about her home. A woman selling lucky heather offers an unexpected possibility: what if wishes really could come true? Alexandra Potter combines romance and humor with a lightly fantastical premise.
A fresh start does not instantly remove Heather's memories or everyday problems. When events begin to favor her wishes, she needs to understand what is happening and what she actually wants. A personal narrative voice and self-deprecating humor connect London work, transport, and small frustrations with the question of happiness. A fulfilled wish can bring pleasure while also exposing the difference between desire and need.
This Czech-language ebook, translated by Dagmar Brejlová, has 320 pages. Publishers: Radioservis and agentura Kristián.
