Odkaz rychtáře Vaváka
Author: Martin Kučera
7,60 €
The village magistrate František Jan Vavák left a distinctive record as a peasant intellectual of the national revival period. Prepared by Martin Kučera, this volume brings together autobiography, selected memoirs, and poetry and songs. A study of peasant literary writing complements them.
The book introduces Vavák through different types of his own texts. It is intended for readers of cultural history, autobiography, and popular writing who seek a personal perspective on the period.
This edition explores Vavák’s legacy through biography, memoirs, verse, and an accompanying study.
