Percy Jackson 2 – More oblúd
Author: Rick Riordan
12,00 €
A peaceful school year is a suspiciously rare gift for Percy Jackson. The last day of classes brings another wave of danger. More oblúd returns Poseidon's son to threats affecting his friends and Camp Half-Blood. In the second novel, Rick Riordan develops a world where Greek mythology enters everyday life and divine parentage carries a duty to act. This Slovak e-book follows Zlodej blesku with another rescue quest.
About the book
Percy knows he is Poseidon's son and belongs to both the human and mythological worlds. That knowledge does not ensure safety. After an unusually quiet year, the last school day becomes a new conflict: even gym class can mean encountering man-eating giants.
Grover is in danger, and Camp Half-Blood faces destruction. The young demigods' refuge itself needs protection. Percy and his friends set out to confront threats to people they care about.
The hero moves from discovering his identity to living with its consequences. He knows his origins but must repeatedly decide what they mean for his actions. Loyalty to a friend and defense of a shared home give the adventure personal motivation.
More oblúd builds on the first book's settings and relationships. It joins mythological beings with the modern world and a quest with the need to help loved ones. Danger again hides behind familiar places and ordinary situations, and Percy cannot ignore it.
