Ptáčátko
19,96 €
Ptáčátko brings danger into phone communications, through which the perpetrator intrudes on victims’ lives. The investigation reunites Naia Thulinová and Mark Hess, but they also seek answers in earlier events. Following Kaštánek, this continuation combines digital clues, psychological pressure, and the return of an unresolved past, without reducing the case to technology alone.
Ptáčátko is the second book in the crime series featuring Naia Thulinová and another thriller by Soren Sveistrup, author of Kaštánek. A case emerges in Copenhagen in which the perpetrator can terrorize victims remotely by phone. The investigation reunites Naia Thulinová with Europol agent Mark Hess and gradually leads them to an older unsolved case. Kateřina Peřinová narrates the Czech-language audiobook, which AudioSpace lists at 16 hours and 53 minutes.

What is Ptáčátko about?
The new case begins with a series of crimes in Copenhagen in which the perpetrator does not need direct contact with the victims. The phone becomes an instrument of psychological pressure, and investigators must understand not only how the perpetrator operates but also why particular victims are chosen.
Naia Thulinová no longer works in homicide and now focuses on cybercrime. Developments in the case nevertheless bring her back to Mark Hess, the Europol agent from the previous story. Their investigation gradually reveals that the current crimes cannot be separated from past events and an older unsolved case.
Ptáčátko therefore rests on more than identifying the perpetrator. The return of the past, the use of digital communication, and psychological pressure on victims and investigators all play important roles. It is a self-contained criminal case that also builds on the characters and world of the previous Naia Thulinová book.
