Zahrada mrtvých duší
Author: Lukáš Boček
11,96 €
After his father's sudden death, Marek loses his sense of stability. A strange message prompts him to revisit the family's past and search for Šárka, the sister he has not seen for years. Lukáš Boček combines psychological fiction with a mystery affecting the closest relationships.
The young painter retreats into emptiness until a message seemingly sent from beyond the grave interrupts his lethargy. It suggests that Šárka may know the true reasons for the family's misfortune.
His sister hides deep in the forest from her own past. Distance is only part of their separation: years of silence and unanswered questions also stand between them. Their father's view of family events differs from the memories of others.
Zahrada mrtvých duší centers on the effort to understand loss and find someone who may hold part of the explanation. The forest refuge emphasizes isolation, while Marek's grief gives him a reason to act again.
Czech-language e-book in EPUB, PDF and MOBI formats. Illustrations by Eva Bartošová.
