Deník kastelána
Author: Evžen Boček

The narrator of Deník kastelána leaves the city to become custodian of a country château. He hopes to find peace, repair his marriage, and give his life new meaning. Instead, the place's past and unexplained events unsettle his rational certainties.
About the book
His diary records the family's new life as old stories, troubling encounters, and questions beyond ordinary explanation enter daily routines.
