Hotýlek na Islandu
Author: Julie Caplin
13,56 €
After losing her job and partner, Lucy accepts an offer to manage a small hotel in Iceland. The half-empty Northern Lights hotel needs fresh ideas, guests' trust, and a team that works together. The fourth Romantic Escapes novel combines a new beginning in an unfamiliar country with an attraction to mysterious bartender Alex.
Rather than retreat to her parents after life's upheavals, Lucy takes a management position at an Icelandic hotel. On arrival, she doubts her decision, and an unfortunate introduction to her staff does little for her confidence. The sight of the northern lights nevertheless encourages her to embrace the opportunity.
The hotel has poor reviews and too few guests. Lucy puts her experience to work, but alongside professional problems comes a suspicion that someone is deliberately undermining her. Relationships with colleagues intersect with a growing interest in Alex, who keeps part of his life private. Icelandic nature and the hotel setting frame a story of independence, trust, and rediscovering joy.
A new beginning: Lucy embraces changes in her career and personal life.
The hotel team: Saving the business requires cooperation and trust.
Romance and mystery: Alex's appeal is linked with uncertainty about his past.
For readers of travel-inspired romance and the Romantic Escapes series.
