What is Les v domě about?
The heroine remains in a family where problems are suppressed rather than named. Her grandmother tends the garden nursery and believes that anything bad can simply be removed; the forest beside the house, however, embodies what cannot be concealed forever. The novel focuses on the consequences of family silence, a child's loneliness, and the return of a suppressed past. It is psychologically demanding fiction.
