Blanka, Olina, and Kristýna travel in winter to their father’s birthday celebration. They bring their children, worries, and memories into the same car. Petra Soukupová shows how physical closeness exposes tensions that began long before the journey.
About the book
Each sister has a different life and experiences the gathering from her own perspective. Conversations and memories give ordinary events added meaning, connecting present reactions with childhood experiences.
